1) Confirm the opening direction and parting line orientation of high-precision plastic molds; At the beginning of planning, each plastic product needs to confirm its mold direction and parting line to ensure that the core slider mechanism is minimized and the impact of parting line on the appearance is minimized. After confirming the mold opening direction of high-precision plastic molds, efforts should be made to align the product reinforcement ribs, bayonets, protrusions, and other structural plans with the mold opening direction to prevent core pulling, reduce seams, and extend the molding time.
2) After confirming the direction of the high-precision plastic mold opening, an appropriate parting line can be selected to prevent undercutting in the opening direction and improve the appearance and performance of the mold.
3) Properly adjusting the draft angle of high-precision plastic molds can prevent damage such as white edges, deformation, and cracking at the top of the product. In the planning of deep cavity structure products, the slope of the outer surface should be as large as possible than the slope of the inner and outer surface to ensure that the plastic Injection mold construction core will not move, and then get a uniform product wall thickness to ensure material strength and product opening time together.
4) Each different type of plastic has a certain wall thickness scale, usually 0.54mm. When the wall thickness exceeds 4mm, it can lead to problems such as excessive cooling time and shortening of plastic products. Therefore, it is necessary to consider changing the product structure. Uneven wall thickness can lead to a shortened appearance. And air holes and fusion lines. In addition, the reasonable use of reinforcing ribs can increase the stiffness of the product and reduce deformation.
